This is where the “Ombuddy” really shines - along with the control I have when configuring it. As the sole proposal professional at a scale-up tech company, I needed a platform I could set up quickly, manage content easily, and use to collaborate with colleagues outside the proposal function without needing to upskill them. The early stages of the RFP execution are now so fast - I can deliver a same-day 1st draft, which has transformed the proposal workflow. As Donald Norman would say, if it needs instructions, it hasn’t been designed right. Ombud is very easy to pick up, yet incredibly powerful. I'm looking forward to a new feature that will allow me to add directable multi-hop reasoning, giving a richer sense of the 'human touch' to the generated responses. Other key areas that were part of my initial vendor evaluation criteria (such as RFP evaluation / shredding) can be well served by other free tools (as blogged about in Stargazy) and don't necessarily need to be native to the execution tool.

The constant development in line with customers actual needs. I love their view of data that makes it possible for me to handle analysis more in my bids. I also like their UX when using the tool. Okey, it´s probably not the UX with most edge, but it makes it easy for me. When implemented, I had zero struggles with SME adapting the tool, which was super helpful to me. Very good customer support!
I would love to see a feature where SME can contribute more and also more use of the data that the tool has, in reports and such (for stakeholders for example).
